An unconventional scooter experience is offered by Monínec as well. At the Sports Center you can rent a scooter, helmet and a map, get on a chairlift that takes you to the top of Javorová skála (723 m above sea level) and then you choose one of the two downhill routes offered: the shorter one of 6 km or the longer adrenaline one with a length of 9 km. You can spice up your downhill ride by visiting the Javorová skála camp with an old Czech post station transported from Sněžka mountain, a rock formation called Čertovo břemeno (Demon’s Burden) braided with a number of legends, or a buff alo farm.
