Within the Vltava River Trail, you can navigate through the 98 km long waterway from the center of České Budějovice via Hluboká nad Vltavou to Týn nad Vltavou and further to Koloděje nad Lužnicí where you can also visit the newly renovated Mitrowicz castle. There is an online experience booking system for visitors. You can become the captain of the boat, take part in a sightseeing cruise, rent a bicycle or enjoy the water’s relaxing atmosphere on a picnic blanket. A great experience is accommodation on the water in beautiful houseboats in which you can transport yourselves and spend every night somewhere else. For private cruises you can rent smaller vessels (boats, rafts, kayaks, paddleboards) and go out for adventure. At the trail you will find protected harbors in České Vrbné and Hluboká nad Vltavou. For a limited period of time you can also dock in České Budějovice, Purkarec or Týn nad Vltavou.
