The first written mention of a brewery standing on a hill above the town of Týn nad Vltavou dates back to the 16th century , although the brewery is probably even older. The Archbishopric owned the brewery until the end of the Second World War, but from the interwar period onwards, beer was no longer brewed there. Reconstruction of the premises began in 2016 and now, after a gap of almost 77 years, we have resumed brewing beer in Týn nad Vltavou.
